Glorious History of Marwar Jain Sangh
In the year 1990 with aim of promoting the values of Jainism , economic and social progress of Society and developing mutual love and promoting Rajasthani Cultural, the foundation of marwar jain sangh was laid, in which rajasthani families living in ahmedabad were bring to one stage.
The founding members, led by Mr. Sajjanrajji Chopra, along with Shri Madanrajji Jamawat, Shri Madanraji Saraf, Shri Pannalalji Surana, and Shri Gyanchandji Hiran, established the Jain sangh with a cooperative spirit.
The sangh successfully organized various religious, cultural, and social programs, including the Swami Vatsalya festival and Holi Sneh Milari cultural program, which increased mutual reconciliation among families and expanded the scope of Marwar Jain Sangh. The sangh also encouraged and honored the young generation, known as Tejaswis, through events such as Bal Gopal competitions and organized competitive sports, pilgrimage trips, stage programs, health camps, blood donation camps, and foreign trips for the members.
Over the years, the sangh has also prioritized service to the economically poor families by providing medical assistance, disabled cycles, and other forms of support.
Taking a step further In 1999, Marwar Jain Yuva Sangh has been establishment with a focus on empowering the youth and fulfilling their aspirations and freedoms. Mr. Hemantkumarji Mehta became the founder member of “Marwar Jain Yuva Sangh.
In 2019-20, during the tenure of Mr. Rajendraji Lone and Mr. Pankajji Lalwani, Marwar Premier League (MPL-1), a cricket tournament for the youth and children of the association, was inaugurated in a grand manner. With the active participation and support of its members, Marwar Jain Sangh has become a prominent organization in Ahmedabad and continues to add new members every year. Cricket Tournament for Ladies of sangh was also added in MPL-3 Held in year 2022-23.
With the support and cooperation of its members, Marwar Jain Sangh has become a leading organization in Ahmedabad, continuously adding new members every year. The sangh promotes a spirit of living together and serving society, aiming to repay the debt towards society through its various initiatives and programs.
